Power steering pipe forming the low-pressure return leg of the power steering hydraulic circuit, running from the steering box return port back to the fluid reservoir.

Fluid that has passed through the recirculating-ball steering box is carried back along this rigid pipe to the reservoir, where it de-aerates and sheds heat before being drawn into the pump again. The pipe is pre-formed to a set routing through the engine bay, so the correct part is specific to the engine installation and steering hand rather than being a universal length of tube.

For TDi turbo diesel installations with power assisted steering, right-hand drive routing.
