Anti-Roll Bar - Front is the transverse torsion bar of the front stabilizer bar assembly.

It is retained to the body structure by bushed mounting clamps and connected to the front suspension on each side by a drop link. As the suspension moves unequally left to right, the bar twists and transfers load across the axle to resist body roll in cornering.

This bar is for vehicles in less-armoured specification; armoured vehicles carry a heavier bar of different rate.

Renew the mounting bushes and drop links alongside the bar. Deteriorated bushes let the bar shift in its clamps, producing a knock over uneven surfaces and reducing roll control.
