Anti Roll Bar Link - Front connects the front anti-roll bar to the front suspension lower arm, transferring torsional load across the axle to resist body roll during cornering.

The link uses ball-jointed ends to accommodate the angular movement between the bar and the arm mounting point. Wear or failure of the link causes a rattle or clunk over uneven surfaces and noticeably reduced resistance to body roll.

Frequently asked questions

What makes RBM500190HD different from a standard anti roll bar link?
RBM500190HD is the Meyle HD version of the front anti roll bar link. Meyle's HD range is built to a reinforced specification compared with the standard part, aimed at vehicles that see heavy loads, towing or rough surfaces. Fitment matches the standard RBM500190 link.
What does the front anti roll bar link do?
The front anti roll bar link connects each end of the anti roll bar to the suspension on a Discovery 3. When the vehicle leans in a corner, the bar twists and pushes back against the roll. The link is the joint that transmits that load, and its ball ends wear.
How many are needed and when should they be replaced?
Two per vehicle, one each side, and it's worth doing both together. Replace when you hear knocking from the front over bumps, or find play by levering the link by hand with the weight off the wheel. Worn links rarely fail suddenly, they just get progressively noisier.
