Rear Spring Seat - locating seat and insulator for the rear coil spring, part of the rear springs and dampers assembly.

It sits between the end of the coil spring and its mounting face, setting the spring's seated position and angle while isolating structure-borne noise and vibration from the body. A deformed, perished or corroded seat lets the spring shift on its mounting, which typically shows as knocking over uneven surfaces or as unequal ride height across the axle.

Fitted in a quantity of two per vehicle. Replace both sides together so seated spring height remains equal from one side to the other.
