The main bearings are the replaceable shell bearings that support the crankshaft in the cylinder block main bearing housings of the five-bearing engine, maintaining the running clearance and providing a lubricated bearing surface for the crankshaft main journals. This set is sized 0.020" undersize for a crankshaft reground to the corresponding journal diameter.
