The main bearings are the replaceable shell bearings that support the crankshaft in the cylinder block main bearing housings, maintaining the running clearance and providing a lubricated bearing surface for the crankshaft main journals. This kit is supplied in 0.020" oversize for a crankshaft reground to the corresponding journal size.
