Con Rod Bearing Set for the 2.5L 4-cylinder engine, supplied in 0.010" undersize.

These are the big-end shell bearings that sit between the crankshaft big-end journals and the connecting rod big ends. They carry the reciprocating load of the engine bottom end and maintain the running clearance through which pressurised oil is fed to the journal. Copper/lead bearing material.

0.010" (0.254 mm) undersize shells are used when the crankshaft big-end journals have been reground to the corresponding undersize during an engine rebuild. The set covers the 2.5L naturally aspirated diesel, 2.5L turbo diesel, 200 Tdi and 300 Tdi engines.
