Piston for the 2.25L four-cylinder diesel engine, supplied in an oversize grade for a rebored cylinder block.

The piston runs in the cylinder bore and transfers combustion pressure through the gudgeon pin to the connecting rod and crankshaft. Oversize pistons are used once the block has been rebored beyond standard, restoring correct piston-to-bore clearance.

Four pistons of the same grade are required to rebuild a complete engine. Match the grade to the finished bore dimension of the block.
