Brake Disc - Coated - vented front brake disc, part of the front disc brake assembly.

The disc is mounted to the front hub and rotates with the road wheel; the caliper clamps its two friction faces to convert motion into braking force. Internal vanes between the friction surfaces channel airflow to dissipate heat, reducing brake fade under repeated or sustained braking. A protective coating on the non-friction surfaces resists corrosion. Specified for the non-armoured vehicle configuration.

Brake discs should be replaced as an axle pair to maintain balanced braking.

What is this front brake disc for?
This is a front vented, coated brake disc for the Range Rover L322 (2002-2009) with the less armoured front brake setup. The vented design helps cooling under repeated braking.
How many discs do I need?
You need two front discs per vehicle, one per side. They're supplied singly, so order two to replace the front pair together for even braking.
Does this fit every L322, or only certain VINs?
This disc fits the less armoured L322 up to VIN 5A999999. Cars with the armoured front brakes use a different disc, so check your VIN before ordering.
What does the coating on the disc do?
