Front brake disc - vented, cross-drilled and grooved, for the front brake assembly.

The disc runs between the caliper pads and transfers braking torque from the hub to the wheel. Internal vanes in the vented casting draw air through the disc so heat generated under braking is carried away rather than soaked into the pads and fluid. The cross-drilled holes and machined grooves break up the layer of gas and friction dust that forms between pad and disc face during repeated heavy braking, keeping the friction level more consistent and helping the pads wear evenly.

Supplied singly; two are required per vehicle. Discs should be replaced in axle pairs and fitted with new pads.
