These springs take the place of the original front air springs when an electronic air suspension system is converted to coil suspension, setting front ride height 2" (50 mm) above standard.

Converting from air to coil removes the air spring, its supply line and the height-control circuit from the front suspension - common sources of expensive repair and of suspension failure away from workshop support. A complete conversion also requires matching damper struts and an EAS override module, which retains the original terrain response, headlight levelling and instrument display functions.
