Weld-On Threaded Collar - tubular threaded mounting can for the TF149 hydraulic bump stop, welded to the chassis bracket or bump stop turret to carry the bump stop body.
The internal thread engages the threaded outer body of the bump stop, so the unit can be screwed in or out to set the point in the compression stroke at which it begins to act, then locked in position. Because the collar is welded rather than bolted, the fabricator sets the mounting position to suit the available axle travel and the space around the axle.
Supplied as a bare collar for fabrication - used as the mounting for a new installation, or as a replacement for a damaged can.
