Steel Beadlock Wheel - 16" steel off-road wheel with a bolt-on beadlock ring, 8" rim width. Supplied as a single wheel.
The outer ring clamps the tyre's outer bead mechanically against the rim flange rather than relying on inflation pressure to hold the bead seated. This allows the tyre to be run at very low pressure for a longer contact patch and greater sidewall flex, without the bead unseating and the tyre rolling off the rim under lateral load.
The 8" rim width accepts the wider off-road tyre sizes. Steel construction deforms rather than cracks under impact and can be straightened or repaired by welding, which suits sustained competition and expedition use where a wheel may have to be recovered in the field.
Intended for competition and off-road use.
