Four-stage adjustable shock absorber for the rear axle, valved for a +2 inch raised ride height.
Damping is set by rotating the adjuster knob on the shock body through four positions - Comfort, Standard, Firm and Sport - so the damping rate can be matched to the fitted spring rate, the laden weight of the vehicle and the required handling balance. Comfort softens compression and rebound for road use, Standard corresponds to the damping rate of the fixed-valve performance shock in the same range, and Firm and Sport progressively tighten body control for laden and off-road work.
