Hawse Fairlead - aluminium rope guide for the winch mounting assembly, bolting to the fairlead face of a winch bumper or winch mounting plate.

The hawse design presents a smooth radiused aperture on all four sides, feeding the rope onto the drum at an angle without the pinch points of a roller fairlead. Specified for use with all types of synthetic winch rope.

Can be retrofitted to many types of winch bumper; the mounting bolt holes may need to be re-drilled to suit.

Frequently asked questions

What is a Hawse Fairlead?
The Hawse Fairlead is an aluminium rope guide for a winch installation. It bolts to the fairlead face of a winch bumper or winch mounting plate and feeds the winch rope onto the drum smoothly through its radiused aperture.
What's the difference between a hawse and a roller fairlead?
A hawse fairlead has a smooth radiused opening on all four sides, feeding the rope in without the pinch points of a roller fairlead. It's specified for synthetic winch rope, and the aluminium build won't chew the rope the way a worn roller can.
Will it fit my winch mount?
It's a universal winch part rather than vehicle-specific, bolting to the standard fairlead mounting face on most winch bumpers and plates. Check your winch mount uses the common hawse bolt pattern before ordering.
