Shock Absorber - 8-stage adjustable remote-reservoir damper for the front or rear suspension.

Monotube construction with a 20 mm double chrome-plated shaft and fully welded pin mountings top and bottom, running on natural rubber bushes. The body is 125 mm (+5") longer than the standard damper, allowing the additional axle droop and articulation that a raised or long-travel suspension set-up produces.

Oil and nitrogen are carried in a separate remote canister, divided by a floating piston. The increased fluid and gas capacity resists the aeration that develops when a damper is worked hard and heats up, which is the usual cause of damping fade on rough ground. An 8-stage damping adjuster on the canister lets the rate be set for low-speed rock crawling, cross-country work or road use.

The standard rear top eye mount will not accept a pin-mounted damper of this length. Rear fitment requires the pin-top mounting kit TF519.
