Shock Absorber - 2.5" smooth-body competition damper with 12" of travel, for front or rear use in long-travel suspension builds.

Monotube construction running high-pressure nitrogen over oil, with a 22 mm hard chrome-plated shaft, 60 mm piston and 66 mm body. Open length 860 mm, closed length 555 mm. The finned alloy remote reservoir holds 1.21 litres of suspension fluid; the nitrogen charge is factory set at 150 psi with a working range of 100-250 psi.

An 8-stage compression adjuster on the reservoir sets the damping rate. The unit is fully rebuildable, so seals, fluid and the damper rod can be renewed rather than the whole damper replaced.

The damper mounts on a dedicated bracket set rather than the standard turrets and pins - the companion mount kit is TF545 - and is used with standard or uprated coil springs.
