HID Bulb - H11 is a replacement high-intensity discharge bulb with an H11 base, for headlamp and auxiliary lamp units built around the H11 fitting.
An HID bulb strikes an arc across a gas-filled capsule and requires a ballast to supply the ignition and running voltage. It is therefore a replacement bulb for a lamp unit that is already HID-equipped, and is not interchangeable with a halogen bulb in a standard halogen socket.
