Brand Terrafirma
Silicone Turbo and Intercooler Hose Kit for the 2.2L TD4 turbo diesel charge-air circuit, covering the hose runs between the turbocharger, the intercooler and the inlet manifold. This is the early-type hose configuration; the late-type engine takes a different hose set, supplied under TF742LATE.

The hoses are hand-wrapped from high-grade silicone polymer, thicker in section than the standard rubber hoses and reinforced with a 4-ply polyester fabric, giving an operating range of -40 °C to +180 °C.

Silicone is far less susceptible to heat ageing than organic rubber, so the hoses hold their shape and sealing pressure under sustained boost where standard hoses soften, balloon or split. This makes the kit particularly relevant on an engine running raised boost.
