2" Receiver Hitch - a removable rear towing and recovery interface, mounted to the rear of the chassis.

The hitch presents a female steel box section with a 2" internal bore, positioned high up and close to the chassis so that rear departure angle is preserved off-road. A snug-fitting 2" square male section slides into the bore and is retained by a heavy pin and security clip, allowing drop plates, recovery points and demountable winch cradles to be exchanged as required - rather than leaving a fixed tow bar permanently hanging as the lowest point of the vehicle.

Supplied with the necessary fitting kit and retaining pin. The companion removable drop plate is TF879A, which carries a standard tow ball at three selectable heights.
