Rear Step Tow Bar - a combined rear step and towing bracket that bolts to the rear cross member as a single fabricated assembly. NAS (North American Spec) pattern, certificated for towing. TDi applications.
Fabricated from black powder-coated steel tube. The assembly includes an alloy tread plate step, built-in jacking points and a trailer lighting socket mount plate.
Because the towing bracket sits clear of the door-mounted spare wheel, hitching a trailer or caravan is considerably less awkward than with a conventional low-mounted tow bar, and the step itself gives usable footing for reaching the roof and rear of the vehicle. The step also breaks up the traditionally flat rear end of the body.
Tow ball nuts and bolts are RCT765 and the jacking point plastic bung is STC50269AAB.
