Rear Step Tow Bar with 2" Receiver Hitch - a combined rear step, towing bracket and receiver hitch that bolts to the rear cross member as a single fabricated assembly. NAS (North American Spec) pattern, certificated for towing.

Fabricated from black powder-coated steel tube. The assembly includes an alloy tread plate step, built-in jacking points and a trailer lighting socket mount plate.

This version carries an integrated 2" receiver hitch - a female box section with a 2" internal bore that accepts a male 2" square section retained by a heavy pin and security clip. Drop plates, recovery points and demountable winch cradles can therefore be fitted and removed without tools, instead of committing the vehicle to a fixed tow ball. The replacement retaining pin is TF883NASPIN.

Because the towing point sits clear of the door-mounted spare wheel, hitching a trailer or caravan is considerably less awkward than with a conventional low-mounted tow bar, and the step gives usable footing for reaching the roof and rear of the vehicle.
