Dowel for the cylinder block to transmission joint on the 2.4 L and 2.2 L TDCi Puma diesel engines.

The dowel seats in the rear face of the cylinder block and sets the alignment of the manual transaxle bell housing and the starter motor mounting before their fixings are tightened, so the starter pinion and the gearbox input shaft are held true to the crankshaft centreline.
