Roof Rack Cross Rail for the roof rail and cross bar load-carrying system.

The cross rail clamps across the vehicle's longitudinal roof rails, which must be fitted, and forms the transverse load-bearing member onto which roof accessories are mounted - luggage boxes, roof baskets, and cycle, ski, kayak and load carriers. Position along the rails is adjustable and the clamps are lockable.

Constructed in aluminium with a silver finish, and profiled to reduce wind noise and aerodynamic drag. The assembled cross bar system is rated for a maximum roof load of 71.8 kg; the vehicle's overall height with the bars fitted is 1,980 mm at normal ride height.
