The valve governs the flow of fuel vapour between the fuel tank and the charcoal canister, allowing the tank to vent under pressure while preventing liquid fuel from carrying over into the canister. Fitted to the 4.4L M62 V8 petrol engine application.

A valve that sticks or leaks will normally show up as an evaporative emission fault code.
