Flanged Nut - M6 captive nut, also described as a U-nut or speed clip, used to provide a threaded fixing point in sheet metal and moulded panels.

It clips over the edge of a panel, bracket or reinforcement so that a bolt or screw can be run into it from the opposite side, with the flange spreading the clamping load across the panel face. Typical uses are the retention of underbody shields, wheelarch liners, bumper mountings and small brackets.

Supplied individually; these clips are frequently damaged or lost on removal and are best renewed rather than reused.
