Fuel Injector within the multi-point injection (MPi) fuel delivery system of the 2.0L T-Series 4-cylinder petrol engine.

The injector receives a timed signal from the engine control unit (ECU) and delivers a precisely metered fuel charge into the inlet port upstream of the intake valve. One injector is fitted per cylinder; four are required per engine.
