Rocker Shaft Spring for the Rover V8 valvetrain, fitted on the rocker shaft assembly.

The spring acts as a spacer between adjacent rocker arms, holding each rocker in its correct lateral position along the shaft and taking up end float so the valve gear stays properly aligned in operation. Applies to the 3.5, 4.0 and 4.6 litre V8 petrol engines.
