Snorkel Head is the 3.5" ram-air intake head that fits to the top of a raised air intake tube, forming the forward-facing scoop that feeds cool, clean air into the induction system.

Moulded from UV-stable cross-linked polyethylene, it draws air from roof height for wading and dust protection and can be rotated to face away from airborne debris.

Supplied as a replacement air ram head for 3.5" raised air intakes.

Will the 3.5-inch snorkel head fit a 3-inch raised air intake?
No. The DA3142 head is sized for a 3.5-inch raised air intake tube only. For a smaller 3-inch tube you need the DA3141 head instead. Measure your snorkel tube's outer diameter before ordering, as the two heads aren't interchangeable.
Can the ram-air head be rotated to face away from debris?
Yes. The ram-air head rotates on the intake tube, so you can point it forward to ram cool air at speed or turn it away from dust and debris. It typically mounts at the top of the A-pillar snorkel on Defender, Discovery 1 and Discovery 2 applications.
