Alternator Bracket mounts the alternator to the front of the V8 petrol engine.

It bolts to the engine and locates the alternator within the accessory drive, holding it in correct alignment with the drive belt and pulleys so belt tension is maintained. A cracked or distorted bracket allows the alternator to shift, causing belt misalignment, squeal and accelerated bearing wear.
