Air-operated differential locker for a 24-spline differential, replacing the standard differential centre in the axle.

When engaged, it locks both half shafts together so the wheels on that axle turn at the same speed regardless of available traction; when disengaged, the differential operates normally. The actuator uses a non-rotating annular piston, which avoids the air leakage and oil carry-over associated with rotating-seal designs, and the locking ring engages the side gear by 6 mm for positive engagement. The locker body is machined from billet steel and the lock ring from high-tensile steel to withstand shock loading.

Installation requires the differential housing to be drilled and tapped 1/4" BSP for the air feed fitting; no modification to the axle case is needed. An on-board air supply is required and is not included.
