Limited Slip Differential of the automatic torque-biasing (ATB) type, replacing the standard open differential inside the axle differential assembly.

An ATB unit uses a helical gear set rather than clutch packs or friction plates. Under normal driving it behaves as an open differential; when one wheel begins to lose grip it biases drive torque progressively towards the wheel that still has traction, without locking the axle and without driver intervention. Because there are no friction plates, no special limited-slip additive is required in the axle oil.

Suitable for front and rear axle installations. Not suitable for Salisbury axles.

The GA9011 is an automatic torque-biasing (ATB) limited slip differential that replaces the standard open differential in the axle. Will the GA9011 fit a Salisbury axle?
