Front Body Mounting is a rubber isolator in the body-to-chassis mounting system. It sits between the body floor and the chassis frame at the front mounting position, carrying the weight of the body while isolating road, suspension and drivetrain vibration from the cabin.

The mounting is clamped by the body mount bolt passing through its centre. Rubber mountings compress and perish with age and heat, allowing body movement, uneven body height and increased noise in the cabin, so mountings are normally renewed as a set across the vehicle.
