Air Flow Sensor - V8 is the mass air flow (MAF) sensor for the V8 EFI petrol engine, forming part of the air cleaner and intake assembly.

Mounted in the intake tract between the air filter and the throttle body, it measures the mass of air drawn into the engine and supplies that signal to the engine management ECU, which uses it to set fuelling. An accurate reading is essential for the correct air/fuel ratio, stable idle and clean throttle response.
