Radiator Assembly - the main coolant radiator in the engine cooling system, for petrol applications.

Coolant leaving the engine passes through the radiator core, where airflow drawn across the fins sheds the heat before the coolant returns to the water pump. The assembly comprises the core, the top and bottom tanks and the hose and mounting points for this installation.

Internal silting and external fin corrosion both reduce heat rejection and are not economically repairable, so the radiator is renewed as an assembly. Replace the hoses, clips and coolant at the same time and refill following the correct bleed procedure.
