Genuine Part
Genuine: Original manufacturer part. This product is the original part designed and produced by the vehicle manufacturer.
Watts Linkage Bush for the rear Watts linkage. The Watts linkage locates the rear axle laterally, keeping it centred as the suspension moves through its travel.

This bush serves either the top or bottom link position of the linkage, forming the compliant pivot between the link and its mounting. It is a press fit; applying heat during installation will render it unserviceable.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Watts linkage bush and what does it do?
This bush forms the compliant pivot in the rear Watts linkage on the Discovery 2. The Watts linkage locates the rear axle laterally, keeping it centred as the suspension moves through its travel, and this bush serves either the top or bottom link position.
Does it fit the upper or lower link?
It fits either the top or bottom link position of the Discovery 2 Watts linkage. The same centre bush serves both, so it can be used at either location when refreshing the linkage.
How is it fitted?
This is a press-fit bush. Applying heat during installation will render it unserviceable, so it must be pressed in on the Discovery 2. Worn Watts linkage bushes typically let the rear axle wander laterally.
