Polyurethane Watts Linkage Bush for the rear suspension transverse link, supplied in the yellow polyurethane grade.

The Watts linkage locates the rear axle laterally, holding it centred beneath the body through vertical suspension travel. The transverse links run from a central pivot on the axle out to the chassis mountings, and this bush forms the pivot at the link. In polyurethane the bush deflects less under lateral load than the standard rubber item, holding axle location more tightly at the cost of transmitting slightly more road noise. Two are fitted per vehicle.

This is a press-fit bush; a hydraulic press is normally required for removal and installation.
