Brake Servo Seal - the O-ring that seals the joint between the brake master cylinder and the face of the vacuum servo in the hydraulic braking circuit.

The master cylinder mounts directly onto the servo body, and this seal closes the interface between the two. It maintains vacuum integrity inside the servo chamber and prevents brake fluid weeping past the mounting flange along the pushrod bore. A hardened, flattened or nicked seal shows up as fluid seepage at the servo face, a loss of servo assistance, or both.

Renew this seal whenever the master cylinder is separated from the servo.
