Oil Pressure Switch for the Rover V8 engine lubrication circuit.
The switch threads into the engine oil gallery and closes below its set pressure threshold, driving the low oil pressure warning lamp in the instrument circuit. It is used on the 3.5L carburettor and 4.0L EFi V8 petrol engines; it is not a diesel-engine part.
Replace when the warning lamp remains lit with oil pressure confirmed good, or when the switch body weeps oil.
