Shock Absorber - 8-stage adjustable remote-reservoir front damper for raised and long-travel suspension.

Monotube construction with pin mountings top and bottom, 125 mm (+5") longer than the standard front damper so the front axle can extend fully without the damper reaching the end of its stroke.

Oil and nitrogen are held in a separate remote canister and kept apart by a floating piston. The larger fluid volume resists the aeration and consequent damping fade that occurs when a damper runs hot over sustained rough ground. An 8-stage adjuster on the canister sets the damping rate, from low-speed rock crawling through cross-country to road use.
