Fuel Tank Guard in 5 mm steel - underbody protection panel for the fuel tank.

The fuel tank sits low under the rear overhang, one of the most exposed points on the underbody when working over rocks and ruts. A punctured tank means fuel loss, a stranded vehicle and a substantial repair. The guard bolts up around the tank and its cradle so impacts are taken by the panel rather than the tank itself.

Factory towing kits and rear steps can still be fitted alongside the guard; some trimming may be required where non-standard equipment is already installed.
