Receiver Hitch Pin - retaining pin for a 2in receiver hitch assembly.

The receiver housing has a 2in internal bore that accepts a 2in square-section shank. This pin passes through the cross-drilled bores of the housing and the inserted shank, locking the towing or recovery attachment against being pulled out under load. In the assembly the pin is held captive by a security clip.

Fitted as a replacement for a lost or worn pin, or carried as a spare alongside a drop plate, tow ball mount or recovery hitch.
