Secondary Air Rail Connector - connector in the secondary air injection system of the V8 petrol engine.

Secondary air injection introduces fresh air into the exhaust ports during cold running, so that unburnt fuel continues to oxidise in the exhaust and the catalysts reach operating temperature more quickly. This connector forms part of the pipework and control valve assembly that carries that air to the secondary air rail.

Fitted to V8 petrol applications only.
