EGR Blanking Plate for the exhaust gas recirculation circuit on the Td5 2.5L 5-cylinder turbo diesel.

The plate installs at the joint between the EGR pipe and the inlet manifold, closing off the recirculation port so exhaust gas can no longer pass back into the intake tract. This keeps soot and oil vapour out of the inlet manifold and intercooler pipework.

Fitting requires the existing EGR pipe flange to be released and refitted over the plate. Clean the mating faces before assembly and renew the flange gasket.
