Relay - normally open 4-pin relay for use in the underbonnet fuse and relay box. In its de-energised state the load contacts are open; energising the coil closes the contacts to complete the controlled circuit.

The 4-pin layout uses two terminals for the control coil and two for the switched load, providing make-when-energised switching for circuits such as glow plugs, heated screens, and auxiliary loads.

Frequently asked questions

What is the YWB101300 relay used for?
The YWB101300 is a normally open 4-pin relay used in the fuse and relay box. With the coil de-energised the load contacts stay open; energising the coil closes them to complete the circuit. It typically switches loads such as glow plugs, heated screens, and auxiliary circuits.
Which Land Rover models does this relay fit?
This relay fits the Discovery 2 (1998-2004), Freelander 1 (1996-2006), Freelander 2, and Range Rover L322 (2002-2009, up to VIN 9A999999). On the Discovery 2 it sits in the under-bonnet fuse box; on the Freelander 1 it's the interior main relay.
This relay is superseded by LR126493, what does that mean?
The YWB101300 is superseded by LR126493, the current replacement relay. Supersession means the newer part takes over the same function, so it does the same job in the same location. If YWB101300 is unavailable, LR126493 is the direct replacement.
