Alternator Banjo Bolt is the hollow union bolt that secures the oil feed line to the vacuum pump on the alternator of the Td5 2.5L 5-cylinder turbo diesel engine.

On this engine the vacuum pump that supplies the brake servo is integrated with the alternator and is lubricated by engine oil. The cross-drilled banjo bolt clamps the banjo end of the oil feed pipe to the pump, allowing oil to pass through its body into the pump while sealing the union. It seats against a copper crush washer on each side of the banjo fitting, which should be renewed whenever the bolt is disturbed.

The companion oil feed pipe is YKL100120.
