Throttle Body and Motor - electronically actuated throttle valve assembly in the engine air intake system, mounted at the intake manifold inlet.

The integral electric motor positions the throttle plate on command from the engine control module. On a diesel application the valve regulates intake air quantity to support exhaust gas recirculation flow and particulate filter regeneration, and to damp engine shutdown, rather than acting as the primary load control. Supplied complete with the actuator motor.

For the 3.0L V6 diesel engine.
