A/C Switch - facia-mounted switch for the air conditioning system.

Fitted in the heater and ventilation control panel of the centre facia, it is the driver's request input to the air conditioning circuit, signalling the system to engage the compressor clutch subject to the refrigerant pressure and temperature interlocks. A failed switch leaves the heater and blower working normally while the compressor never engages.
