Coolant Hose forms part of the charge air cooler coolant circuit on the 5.0L supercharged V8 petrol engine (AJ133).

This engine uses a water-cooled charge air cooler, served by a low-temperature coolant loop with its own pump and radiator that draws heat out of the supercharged intake air. The hose carries coolant between the components of that circuit.

Coolant hoses soften, swell and perish with age and heat cycling, and are renewed once weeping, cracking or softening is found.
