Glow Plug for the 2.2L 16-valve turbo diesel four-cylinder (Puma) engine.

One glow plug is fitted per cylinder in the cylinder head. When the ignition is switched on for a cold start, the plug heats the combustion chamber to raise its temperature so the diesel ignites reliably, shortening cranking time and reducing cold-start smoke.
